At the moment of cancellation, the system will ask for two pieces of information from the runner along with the security code you received in the registration confirmation email. If the information is correct, the cancellation will be processed (above all, do not share the security code with anyone!). Upon cancellation, your payment will be refunded using the same payment method you used, minus the bank commission (€3). This action is irreversible! Once you cancel, you cannot go back and you will lose the bib that was assigned to you. Once the cancellation is complete, your bib will be released and reassigned in strict order to the next person on the waiting list (if there is one), or it will remain available until another runner registers (if there is no waiting list).
